A Custom hand-built Taylor Trombone Bell paired with a 1964 KING 3B "Silver Sonic" Slide. The Bell's bore begins as a King 3B and opens up after the tuning slide.The tubing is 1mm thick Soft Red Brass and flares to an 8" Bell. His custom mouthpiece resembles a Bach 7c cup with a flat rim.

A 1960's Mt. Vernon BACH Bass Trumpet with the same mouthpiece as his trombone. The Mt Vernon model is slightly smaller than the regular Bach BassTrumpet.

 

Brad Mason

A NEW hand made Taylor "Chicago 46 lite" model trumpet with a Taylor Heavywall 3c mouthpiece. The bore is .460, made with 1mm thick brass tubing (double thickness) and finished in a satin gold.

 

A Taylor Custom handbuilt flugelhorn with a stock 3c Taylor flugelhorn mouthpiece. The Flugel has 1mm thick tubing and like the trumpet also has a red brass bell.
 

A standard AKAI EVI (Electronic Valve Instrument) with a modified EWV Sound Module. Most sounds are programed by himself.

The NEW Rack (for the EVI) concists of a Furman PL-Plus Power conditioner, Mark of the Unicorn Midi Express XT/USB, Boss MX-10 Rack Mixer, Boss SE-70 Effects Processor, Boss EH-50 Stereo Enhancer, Yamaha VL70m Turbo Chipped Synth, Oberheim Matrix 1000 Synth, Roland XV-5050 Synth. All the synths have Patchman Music sound Banks.
